Imam Abu Bakr al-Ajurry [d. 970 AH] – “A sign for whom Allaah ﷻ intends good for…”

Abu Bakr al-Ajurry [d. 970 CE] said, “A sign for whom Allaah ﷻ intends good for is their adherence to this path: the Book of Allaah, the traditions of His Messenger ﷺ, the traditions of the Companions [may Allaah be pleased with them] and those who followed them with good conduct [tab’iun], and what the notable [venerated] Imams, from every land, were upon. To the very last of these venerated Imams, namely: al-Awzaa’i, Sufyan ath-Thawri, Malik b. Anas, al-Shaafi’i, Ahmad b. Hanbal, al-Qaasim b. Salaam, and those who were upon their path [and of their likeness], and [that you] evade, stay clear of, the digressive and divergent paths that they objurgated.”
